Participation in sports is one of the cornerstones of life in St. Fintan’s High School. All students are encouraged to take part in our comprehensive offering of both solo and team disciplines. Over the years St. Fintan’s High School has become synonymous with excellence in sport and this stems from the exceptional support at all tiers within our community; a dedicated PE department is strongly supported by our teachers in sport management roles and the school maintains firm ties with clubs in the local community.

Fantastic result for North Dublin Col hurling team beating Wexford colleges today to qualify for the knockout stages of the Leinster champ. Our students Paddy Doyle, Brian Dunne, Joe Flanagan, Kev Byrne, Mark Murphy, Ben Roberts, Reuben Cantrell and Jamie Herbert all involved.

Two great compromise rules games today against our Australian visitors Wanderers AFL Team. We played an U15 and U17 game with both halves using our own Gaelic ball and the Australian rules ball. 🇦🇺 🇮🇪 Great experience for our students #culture #international
