At the end of Transition Year students take part in a teacher-lead subject taster morning and subsequently make a decision on their optional Leaving Certificate subjects in consultation with their Guidance counsellor, subject teachers and parents.

Classes are streamed in order of ability in Irish, English, Maths and French while all other subjects are taught at mixed ability.
