St Fintan’s High School uses Chromebooks as part of teaching and learning across all subjects. Chromebooks are laptop-style devices designed specifically for education and are widely used in post-primary schools in Ireland.
What is a Chromebook?
A Chromebook is a device that works primarily online and uses Google Workspace for Education applications such as Google Classroom, Docs and Drive. Students sign in using their school-managed account, which allows the school to apply appropriate safety and security settings.
How Chromebooks are used in school
Chromebooks are used to:

Student use of Chromebooks is governed by the school’s Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). This means:
