Padel is currently one of the fastest growing sports in the world, and we are very lucky to have two beautiful courts at Sutton LTC which we can use throughout the school year.
Our 6th year students and teachers recently faced off in a highly competitive, yet friendly, padel match at Sutton LTC. A fantastic afternoon was had by all participants!
In the future we are hoping to turn this into an annual tradition by hosting a ‘Past versus Present’ event at the club, where past pupils, current pupils and teachers will battle it out on the court.
This historic fixture marks St. Fintan’s High School first ever official padel match. A special mention and a huge thank you to Ms.Garry for organising and coordinating this event.
We also extend our gratitude to Ms. Mullane, Mr. Cabello, Mr. O’Neill, and Ms. Mendizabal for participating and helping to organise the event on the day. We would also like to thank David Walls, Padel Chairperson at Sutton LTC, who kindly organised the court bookings.
